Held for the first time in 2008, Miss Beauty Queen used to be the national final for the selection of a UK candidate to attend Miss International, however with the director not renewing his licence in 2010, the contest this year has as yet not announced a new international contest for the winner to attend in 20011.  Miss Beauty Queen's younger sister. Miss Teen Beauty Queen, is run by the same diretors with an almost identical website, and the prizes are similar to the Miss version.  A good pageant to get started on the UK pageant circuit, for enthusiastic teen conestants.
