Miss British Isles comes very highly recommended and is definitely worth entering if you’re just starting out and want to gain some experience on the UK pageant circuit.  Entry fee is a cheap £250, however the winner does not attend an international contest.  On a more positive note, previous winners have always commented that they were treated well and got modelling work out of winning the title, and the prizes are good, which include: £1000 cash, a European holiday, a £1500 model portfolio, clothing, a personal website, and representation by a model agency. There is also a teen version of Miss British Isles.  A good all-round pageant to get you started in the industry.
