International Pageants

The majority of international pageant run by UK Beauties Ltd require that the delegate be at least 17 and no older than 29 as of the date of the contest.  The following competition regulations also apply:

• The delegate must be a natural born female;
• The delegate must have a British passport;
• The delegate must be fluent, nd able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English;
• The delegate must be of good moral character, facial beauty, and posess the desire to be a positive role model to others;
• She should have the drive to succeed in life, travel the world, and make the most of every opportunity she is given, as a national title - holder;
• The delegate should be able to promote herself as a national title - holder, for the year of her reign;
• If the delegate is under 18 years of age, parental consent must be given, in the form of a Parental Consent Form.  Delegates under the age of 18 must also have their parents or a legal guardian accompany them on the UK Beauties Training Day, to prepare them to compete abroad.  The parent or legal guardian has the option to attend the international pageant, however all flights, accomodation, meals and other costs must be covered by the guardian or parent themselves;
• Unless entering a 'Mrs' pageant, the delegate must be single and never married or had a child as of the start date of the pageant.  This rule applies to the majority of UK pageants;
• The delegate must remain unmarried during her reign as a national titleholder and as the international titleholder should she win. If she becommes engaged or has a child during this time, her title may be removed - this is at the discretion of UK Beauties Ltd and the international diector.
  
   

Returning Delegates

Former delagates who have attended international pageants before through UK Beauties Ltd, unfortunately are not eligible to compete in the same international contest twice, but may enter other international pageants, representing the same country, through UK Beauties Ltd.

 

The Delegate agrees:

a) To abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing the international pageant.  These rules and regulations will be provided prior to the delegate leaving the UK;

b) To attend the Pageant Training Day (with a parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18) prior to attending the international pageant;

c) If selected as the internatioanl winner, delegate agrees to stay in the host country for a number of days (to be decided by the international director) to promote the pageant and it's sponsors, affiliates and associates.  All these expenses will be covered by the international director, to ensure the delegate has a fantastic time!  The delegate also agrees to make a minimum of 5 appearances throughout her year’s reign, on behalf of UK Beauties Ltd.

d) If selected as the international winner, the delegate will not enter or compete in any other national or international pageant or beauty contest during her reign. Winners are expected to give their time and energy to this title and to make themselves available to UK Beauties and the international directors during their year’s reign.  Permission may be sought to enter other pageants, but is at the discretion of UK Beauties Ltd;

e) If selected as the international winner, the delegate agrees to pay UK Beauties Ltd a commission of 25% of any money won.  This fee also applies to any work booked through UK Beauties, as the international winner;

f) To seek guidance and assistance from the UK Beauties Team, who will make themselves available at any time, to support the delegate, whether she wins her international pageant or not.  The UK Beauties team is committed to supporting the delegate for her year of reign;

Limitation of Liability - UK Beauties Ltd

UK Beauties Ltd agrees to provide the winners attending any international pageant, after payment of their sponsorship fee, with:

a) Entry into the international pageant;

b) Return flights from the UK to host country. UK Beauties is not responsible for arranging/payment of excess luggage or visas (if required);

c) Accommodation and meals for the duration of the international pageant;

d) A sash upon arrival in the host country, to wear, bearing the delegate's country;

e) A beautiful Tiara to promote herself throughout her year of reign;

f) A complimentary Pageant Training Manual;

f) A complimentary pageant training day, worth £200.  Delegetaes under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

In the event of the international pageant being cancelled, the above prizes and sponsorship fee are transferrable, and the delegate will be given first option on the next international pageant within the price range already paid.  If the delegate wants to extend an international pageant that costs more, the delegate can pay the difference to UK Beauties Ltd.

The delegate is required to purchase her own travel insurance to attend the international pageant.

UK Beauties Ltd provides young women with fantastic opportunities to travel the world, meet new people and experience different cultures, however UK Beauties Ltd accepts no liability or responsibility for the delegate, or her property, at the international pageant.  The liability lies with the international organiser.  UK Beauties Ltd can provide these contact details upon request.

UK Beauties Ltd, its officers, employees, and pageant personnel are not responsible for accidents, injury or theft incurred through competing in, and travelling to and from the international pageant.

Code of Conduct

All delegates representing the UK through UK Beauties Ltd shall be a beautiful person, both inside and out, a lively young woman whose background is not likely to bring UK Beauties Ltd, it's licensor, international director or promotor, into disrepute. By representing her country, the delegate agrees that:
 

• she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character;
• she has not committed and will not commit any criminal act, or engage in any behaviur whatsoever that will reflect negatively on UK Beauties Ltd, its representatives, sponsors, licensees, or international directors;
• she has not appeared in, or posed for, any nude, suggestive or provocative photographs prior to, during the preliminary or pageant finals, or during her reign should she become a national winner or international title - holder.  If such images are discovered, the delegate agrees to be disqualified;
• she will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the training day, and while representing UK Beauties Ltd at the international pageant;
• she will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, pageant staff, UK Beauties staff or anyone else involved with or connected to the international pageant.  Comments on public forums, in the public domain (for example Facebook, Twitter and the like) should be kept positive and and negative comments could be deemed defamatory and make the delegate liable for slander.  Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against UK Beauties and the international pageant will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, removal of her title, and legal charges.

Good sportsmanship is expected at all times, and it is with this expectation that UK Beauties Ltd choses our delegates to compete in international pageants.
