Contest Description:

The prestigious Miss Globe International pageant this year is taking place in the beautiful Eastern European countries of Turkey and Greece. Previously owned by the late internatonal pageant legend Charlie See, Miss Globe International is now under new ownership and from 2011 will be run in Istanbul, Turkey. In the 2010 contest, which was a spectacular show, Miss UK Globe Sarah Mathers was chosen to represent our country as beautiful, intelligent, talented young ladies, unmarried between the ages 17-26 from all over the world competed for the title.

Miss Globe is a firm UK Beauties favourite, and a great pageant for the more experienced contestant. Uk Beauties director Hannah McCuaig represented the UK in 2006 and made the Top 10, as did 2008's Miss Globe UK, Janine Robertson, who also won Miss Golden Girl. The UK has an impressive record of girls doing well in Miss Globe International, and for this reason, we chose only the best girls from the UK to compete in this prestigious contest.

2011 Winners:

Four lucky ladies competed in our online contest and interviews to win the England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales titles respectively. The Four beautiful young women set to compete in Miss Globe International 2011 are:

England: Sarah Ashworth

Ireland: Eisha Acton

Scotland: Kirsty Turner

Wales:

Northern Ireland: Emily Cloke

2010 Winners:

Sarah Mathers is an experienced contestant on the British pageant scene. Having placed third in Miss Galaxy UK only a couple of months before, Sarah was the perfect choice for our 2010 candidate. Sarah is in her final year of study, specialising in Media & Journalism at De Montford University.
