From spring 2010, aswell as running the majority of our international contests as photo heats and phone interviews, a number of girls will be selected through other means: smaller contests run by companies that UK Beauties trusts and has good business relationships with, companies that have a mark of quality, who treat their girls well and run fair and ethical training and small pageant contests. One of our main partners is the Kerri Parker Academy, who run regular model training days and the UK Beauties team regularly attends these training days to spot and chose girls for our international pageants. To enter any of our international contests, complete the entry form and email it back to us with the following:

Copy of your passport;
3 clear photos (one head shot, one bikini and one fashion wear);
Any supporting information such as charity work or toehr community activities.

Regardless of how you are chosen, whether it be through a partner contest, or through the photo heats and phone interviews, your sponsorship fee is all inclusive and covers the following:

What You Get:

A beautiful crown and sash to promote yourself throughout your year of reign;
A certificate of authenticity, to show potential sponsors that you are the real deal!
Entry into the international competition and the chance to hold a national title;
Return flights booked for you, to the country the international contest is being held in;
Accommodation, transfers, meals, sight seeing tours, franchise fee all paid for you;
A complimentary pageant training day with UK Beauties, worth £200.00;
The full support of the UK Beauties team!

OK, so what’s the catch?
Quite simply, there is none. UK Beauties only makes a small profit from sending girls to international contests,a nd we do it simply because we want to provide the young women of this country with fantastic opportunities to travel the world and experience different cultures, meet new people and compete in international contests.
For 2 years, UK Beauties offered this International Service for free, however recently, a non-refundable sponsorship fee has had to be introduced, due to a couple of young women pulling out of attending their international only 2 days before they were due to fly out to their contest, leaving UK Beauties with a large bill to pay and no girl to attend the international contest. With this is mind, just think of your sponsorship fee as a deposit, or contribution towards your flight, which actually costs considerably more.

Financial Information
If you attend one of our internationals, the small admin fee is paid to UK Beauties to cover international calls made on your behalf, to arrange your FREE travel, your visa, as a contribution towards your flight, and to cover the cost of your crown and sash, and training day. Regardless of which contest you attend, attending an international pageant through UK Beauties will give you the peace of mind of knowing that you are attending an ethically run international contest, with the added bonus of the full support of the UK Beauties team behind you!

The pageant costs are minimised as much as possible, and are priced between £250 and £1000 each, depending on the length and nature of the contest, and the amount of preparation required to send you there. For those who would question the fee, UK Beauties is happy to provide you with copies of all receipts and invoices, upon request.

We also throw in a free training day for you, to prepare you for your international travels and to teach you how to successfully compete at an international contest. We believe in meeting, training and preparing each and every young woman who attends an international through UKB, to ensure that they are safe, confident and thoroughly prepared to travel round the world as their country’s ambassador. We will ensure that you return safely home, and will do our upmost to act on any feedback from you.

You can draw your own conclusions from the above findings, however we must warn all contestants to carefully consider attending an international without the support of a contest director, agent or chaperone. UK Beauties prides itself on extensively preparing contestants for their internationals in a safe and secure environment, and providing them with all the support they need to perform at their best.

Parents of Under 18's
If your daughter is lucky enough to of been chosen to attend an international pageant, the best thing you can do it to support her. Advice for parents of young (under 18) and Teen contestants is available in the PAGEANTS Tab, under TEEN PAGEANTS. Worrying aside, there are many things you can do to help your daughter prepare for an international pageant, and the first thing is to inform us that you are aware of, and support her participation. As her legal guarians/parents, you will be required to complete a Parental Consent Form. If still in education, she will also be required to get her school/college to sign a Educational Leave Form. These precautions are here for your daughter's safety, to ensure that both you and her school/college are fully supportive of her pageant career.

Directors
If you are the director of a UK pageant and would like to send your winner or runner up to one of our international pageants, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss franchise and business options with you.

How it works:
UK Beauties holds the largest collection of UK franchises for international pageants, in the UK. Over the years we have formed strong business relationships with numerous international directors, who regularly used UK Beauties as a platform to find girls from the UK for their international competitions: through this, we are now proud to launch our International Division, and currently have the largest collection of franchises in the UK for international pageants. We chose these girls based upon photographs and their application which is submitted online, and a short telephone interview. If you are a Club UKB Member, you can enter these contests free of charge, but if you’re not, you will be required to pay an entry fee of £25 per contest. If you would like to be considered to attend one of the internationals listed on our website for free, and enter as many internationals as you like, you must first of all be a UK Beauties member, and secondly, meet the requirements of whatever internationals you want to attend. The rules for every international do vary slightly, but they usually include: having never been married or had a child, hold a UK passport, and of good moral character. Some pageants have a minimum height requirement of 5ft 7.

If you are chosen as your country’s ambassador, and win the photo contest and phone interview, congratulations!!! You will need to raise between £250 and £1000 (depending on the length and nature of the contest) to cover your flight and other costs. Your sponsorship fee covers all your costs (flight, accommodation, transfers, meals, sight seeing and entry into the contest, a pageant training day, and the full support of the UK Beauties Team to guide you through your international and help you have a fantastic experience!) and the only thing you will have to sort out yourself is your visa. The UK Beauties team will do the rest!
