Best Stage & Show

A pageant is defined as ‘noun 1 a public entertainment consisting of a procession of people in elaborate costumes, or an outdoor performance of a historical scene. 2 (also beauty pageant) N. Amer. a beauty contest.’ So it makes sense for the winner of this award to have the most eye – catching stage and visual effects show of the pageant season!  This award will be given to the director who builds the most innovative stage, and puts on the best show, to really showcase their finalists, and light up their winner!

What We Look For

• Strong branding on stage;
• Good use of visual props (DVD screens, star curtains, mirrors, motion graphics, extra entertainment);
• Excellent sound and lighting;
• Innovative stage design and aesthetics;
• Stage space to allow for effective movement and choreography of the contestants;
• Excellent overall visual appearance of the stage and show.
