Every month, the news section will display new and exciting stories on the latest fashion industry and pageant gossip, and new winners, as well as describing all UK contests and recommending which ones to enter. Members receive advice on what contests to enter, agencies, and how to get started in pageants and modelling. Advice includes everything from catwalk styling tips, makeup application techniques, wardrobe and accessory choices, to answering on stage questions and posing, to getting work, making the most of the media, and raising your public profile. | Website Warning! [18th December] It has been discovered that a well known malicious source has made a copycat website of the Official UK Beauties website. The website was launched on 4th December, long after UK Beauties began trading, and is a close replica of the original UK Beauties format. The website claims to be ‘the UK's official online resource and industry leading watchdog for beauty pageants’ which is a company motto that was made by UK Beauties since it’s founding earlier this year. The website details a number of slanderous and unsubstantiated allegations regarding UK Beauties’ services, which we are taking very seriously. We are not including a link to this site as we do not wish them to benefit from any UK Beauties website traffic, or association with us, but we are taking legal steps to protect our reputation and intellectual property rights. Any feedback on this malicious source is greatly welcome. Here at UK Beauties, we are confident that the quality of our service is nothing but pleasing and can assert this very fact by the large number of compliments we have had about our highly professional and unbiased service.
